Kelly’s first memory of making art was eating glue at nursery school in Southern California when she was five years old. Since then, she has learned to work with many other media, however still doesn’t necessarily use them as intended. She holds a B.A. in studio arts from the University of Minnesota, has worked as a gallery guard at the Weisman Art Museum, and collaborated on the Voice to Vision project which captures the experiences of survivors of genocide. She currently works as a writer and lives in the Twin Cities with her spouse and their child, dogs, and snakes.
